Samdesk is excited to partner with Instacart on their new and first-of-its-kind Shopper Safety Alert technology program. A new in-app feature powered by samdesk, which provides Instacart shoppers with real-time notifications of a critical incident that is occurring nearby or at shopping destination.
Their new app will notify the shopper of any critical events happening nearby, giving them the information needed to avoid the situation. If a shopper is in the middle of an order, the app may also automatically pause the order to prevent shoppers from entering the area of the incident.
The samdesk and Instacart collaboration is based on a shared commitment of being proactive vs reactive to critical events.
