Iran-Israel Conflict Update

Mar 5, 2026 • Iran–Israel Conflict: Regional Escalation Update

The conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran has entered a sustained phase of regional escalation. Israeli and US strikes continue targeting Iranian military, nuclear, and command infrastructure across the country, while Iran maintains missile and drone attacks toward Israel and US facilities across the Gulf.

Fighting has expanded geographically, with intensified Israeli operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, missile and drone incidents across multiple Gulf states, and growing disruption to aviation and maritime activity throughout the region. Attacks on shipping and offshore infrastructure have significantly reduced traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, raising concerns about global energy supply.

Although sustained strikes appear to be degrading Iran’s missile launch capacity, the risk of continued regional spillover and further international involvement remains high. Governments and diplomatic missions across the region are expanding evacuation planning and adjusting travel advisories as security risks increase.
